Security Squad is the only interactive platform designed specifically to help children become more aware of how they can safely interact with the digital world and prepare for the future. Beyond simply becoming aware of threats, we will equip them with the skills they need to find jobs in cybersecurity, business intelligence, programming, and so much more.
Security expert Bjorn Beam established Security Squad with the goal of improving online safety for children. The cybersecurity world should not be a scary place for kids, and with the right skills and tools, kids can harness the internet for the better.
Mr. Beam spent over eight years in the Intelligence Community through his work with the FBI, Department of Defense, and then the CIA as an Operations Officer and Economic Analyst. During his career, Mr. Beam advised senior leaders in the White House, CIA, FBI, Department of Treasury, Department of Commerce, OPIC, Department of Defense, and various other U.S. agencies.
